Mr. Weston has taught college-level courses for 20 years in commercial and fine art departments, while also working as an illustrator, and in Feature and Television animation. From 1991 to 1993 he attended the Claremont Graduate University MFA Program, majoring in figurative painting. Since then he has made studio art while while working for Disney Feature & Television Animation, Warner Brothers Feature & Television Animation, Nickelodeon, Sony Feature Animation, and Wildbrain Animation in San Francisco. At these studios he's been a visual development artist, layout artist, and a traditional and digital background (matte), painter. Mr.Weston has also taught life drawing in animation studios, and currently teaches life drawing, painting and entertainment art classes at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. His current USC class is in life drawing for MFA students in animation.
