- Fellow graduates Juan Camilo Gonzalez (‘SiSiSISiSiSiSiSiSiSiSiSiSiSi’) and Tianran Duan (In Between the Shadows) are also nominated for their thesis animations in the same category assuring that three Hench-DADA animations are finalists in this one category alone.
- Li Gang Visiting Artist and Professor from China takes up residency at Hench-DADA for 2012.
